All Pokémon in the game are set to level 5. This adjustment means that players need to strategize and make the most out of Pokémon at this early stage, as higher-level tactics and evolutions are not available.
Pokémon are restricted to their lowest evolutionary stage. For example, if a Pokémon normally evolves into a more powerful form, it remains in its base form throughout the game. Pokémon that do not have any evolutions have been modified or adjusted to fit this rule, ensuring that every Pokémon conforms to this lower evolution restriction.

Gameplay Changes

- TM 23 (Dragon rage) has been removed
- Water routes have decreased encounter rates (5% to 1%)
- Pokemon Tower has a decreased encounter rate (10% to 1%)
- Mt. Moon has a decreased encounter rate (10% to 1%)
- Rock Tunnel has a decreased encounter rate (15% to 5%)
- Victory Road has a decreased encounter rate (15% to 5%)
- The Seafoam Islands have a decreased encounter rate (15% to 5%)
- Diglett cave has a decreased encounter rate (20% to 1%)
- Pokemon Mansion has a decreased encounter rate (10% to 5%)
