In this modification dedicated to Ash Greninja, the starting Pokémon of the Hoenn region are replaced with Chespin, Fennekin, and Froaki. In addition to these, other Generation 6 Pokémon and the rest of the earlier generations are available in Pokémon Greninja-Z. Introduced the mega-evolution, the ability to purchase a mega-stone in the store in the city of Lilikou. Added an attack for Pokémon Greninja in Pokémon Greninja-Z: Water Shuriken.
