It's the Johto you know, sans Gen1 filler. That's right, all 100 Gen2 Pokes(and their close relatives) have been redistributed throughout the whole region for variety, accessibility, and balance. There're some exceptions, mostly plot-related: Gyrados at Lake of Rage, the Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest, etc. But the goal is to showcase that odd 100 and make you fall in love with them once again.
