Story

Many eons ago, there was only a mass of energy suspended between time and space. It was very unstable, and it possessed a creative power without comparison, so at one point it happened that two beams of light were fired from it. The first beam was of pure white light, and from it arose Arceus. The second on the other hand was charged with a very dim and dark light and spawned Darkevil. These two creatures realized that they could handle the energy from which they came, and to prevent it from getting out of control, they decided to use it to shape a place to inhabit. They created the Universe, with its planets and stars, and made their home on planet Earth. In their image, they created Pokémon, and to live in harmony with them, humans too.

Once everything was finished they retired to rest, but something twisted inside Darkevil. His body had more dark energy than light energy, and it began to take over. His madness reached such an extreme that he attempted to seize the creation he had shared with his brother Arceus. Tapping into his ability to manipulate creative energy, he began to corrupt the bodies of Pokémon and humans, infusing them with a greater level of darkness.

Arceus had always been very peaceful, but by the time he realized what was happening, it was too late, so he had to start a bloody battle against Darkevil. After the combat, Arceus managed to retain his brother, and to prevent him from performing such a terrible act again, he gave up his power to control energy so that Darkevil would lose them as well. His power was then collected in two spheres that are guarded. After that display of power, both Pokémon were exhausted and lost their original form, remaining in a more basic, with less power.

The adventure begins when you, a 14-year-old young man, decide to start a Pravia region journey with your brother. In turn, a neighbor of your hometown, Pueblo Vivo, begins his journey as well, so together you will go to the Initial Center, where the Pokémon Professor of the region, Professor Luna, gives Pokémon to young people who begin their adventures by the region. Each one of you will receive one, and you will begin your journey through Pravia.

Everything seems to be going well until you run into some strange guys, who call themselves Dark Team and claim to be descendants of humans possessed by Darkevil according to the legends. They are stealing a lot of people's Pokémon, and theirs are behaving very aggressively, so you intend to stop them.

During your trip, you will also visit the Unova region, and you will discover a mystery that has remained hidden for a long time...
