This game's story is episodic, and these episodes are all set in independent locations. Each episode will feature a story about one specific recipient of a letter delivered by Myles and the bonds formed by the contents of that letter.
There will be a good ending and an average ending depending on how much the player speaks to the other important members of the story prior to the ending.

- The player will not be given a choice of starters. Instead, they will be granted a single level 10 Hoothoot with a customized moveset, custom battle sprite, re-balanced stats and moveset, and a new ability: Prankster.
