Story

Far away from familiar lands in the Pokémon world, lying South of the Inday Region and West of the Moddin Region, there exists the isolated island of Ahremin. The Ahremin region is known for it's rich history, including tales of a monstrous beast who once threatened to devour the world; it contains bizarre landscapes, including the mysterious ruins of a lost civilization and the outright befuddling Ultimate Warp Zone. The most fascinating aspect of Ahremin, however, is its Pokémon species, all of which are found nowhere else in the world.

After recently moving into the region, a curious, ambitious teenager wishes to explore Ahremin to its fullest; discovering, befriending, and training its Pokémon with the hopes of becoming champion of the Ahremin Pokémon League. This teen is the child of the world-famous Pokemon Trainer Andreas, who runs the gym at Misao City. With a reputation to keep up with and a dream to fulfill, the teen accepts the Trainer's License and embarks on a journey that will test his/her endurance.

Will he/she make a mark on this strange new world? Does he/she have what it takes to become the Ahremin region’s champion? This teen is you, in case you haven't figured that out, so what will you decide?

List of Features

  • Following changes to the matchups of Gen 6, the Fairy type is included in the game.
  • Steel-type no longer resists Dark and Ghost-type moves
  • Electric-type Pokemon are now immune to paralysis and Grass types are immune to "powder" moves. (sleep powder, stun spore, etc.) Unfortunately, ghost-type Pokemon are currently NOT immune to being trapped/trapping moves.
  • The odds of encountering/obtaining a Shiny (alternate color) Pokémon is 200/65536 (roughly 0.3% chance), which is increased from an 8/65536 (roughly 0.01%) chance. This increase is obviously to make shiny Pokemon a bit more accessible.
  • The highest amount of steps required to hatch an RMN-made Pokémon from an egg in this game is 2,805 steps, with the average amount being around 1,050 steps.
  • The poisoned Pokemon will take damage as the player walks in the field, and the Pokemon will faint after receiving enough damage from the status. Removed in newer games, but added back into this game to bring back the challenge of it all.
  • Technical Machines (TM) have infinite use, following the trends of recent games.
  • Similar to Pokemon Black/White, EXP a Pokemon receives from battle is scaled based on the level of the gainer.
  • There are no visible day/night effects.
  • No Pokemon that appears in the game evolves by means of trading.
  • Whether Pokemon's attack move deals physical or special damage is determined by the move itself, rather than typing.
